This picture was taking in the Nano Lopez Studio located in Walla Walla, Washington in 2014. His studio is a well groomed mess of masterpieces from one side of the room to another. He truly is one of our generations master sculptors.

Join us in 2017 (actual date to be determined) in Walla Walla, Washington for our 7th Annual Nano Lopez Studio Tour and private dinner with the Nano Lopez Family. You will have plenty of time to discuss Nano’s inspiration, technique and learn what’s next in his life. This is an exclusive look into the world of Nano Lopez; you will have personal time with Nano and his wife Mariya.  You will also tour his studio and personal creation space called his “Nest”, it’s where the magic happens. And you will get to meet his lovely family including Davian the namesake of “Davian” the ice cream cone eating dragon. This is a two day event and we have transportation and hotel accommodations at the charming and historical Marcus Whitman Hotel. Space is very limited so please call the gallery for details (435.649.6555).

A highlight for me as a gallery owner and collector is watching Nano work on new sculptures that will be coming to galleries in the near future. It always gives myself and guests a warm fuzzy feeling to see a sculpture come to life. It’s a birth so to speak when it finally arrives from the foundry and you can give it a forever home. Who knows, Nano may even take your name suggestions or find inspiration in your feedback at his studio.

This picture was taking in the Nano Lopez Studio located in Walla Walla, Washington in 2014. His studio is a well groomed mess of masterpieces from one side of the room to another. He truly is one of our generations master sculptors. For those of you who’ve followed Nano’s work for any amount of time will already know he’s truly one of our generations master sculptors. His work has brought joy to countless collectors around the world and inspired a new generation of artists to push themselves way beyond what’s normal and expected. Nano’s whimsical collection of “Nanimals” are delightful, curious and invite the viewer to look closer at each sculpture to find a hidden world of treasures within the texture of each piece. Nano uses numbers, titles, textures, names and special objects or gems to create a pattern that tells a unique story. Even though these pieces are cast in a limited edition no two are ever alike because his custom patinas are each truly one-of-a-kind.

Nano’s contemporary and figurative works are masterful, avant-garde and encourage debate and discussion. Many galleries do not carry these special pieces but our collectors and friends of the gallery respond well to them. Each contemporary work tells a powerful story and they speak of the struggles of life and the human condition. They are often covered in mechanical gears and cogs that refer to the industrial age and our connection to it. Our lives heavily depend on progress but at what cost? There is a balance and within this collection you’ll find inspiration, life and encouragement to find that personal space in your life.

This is a picture of a new bronze sculpture still in clay form by Nano Lopez. It's a charming cat that will look great with any of Nano's collectable and timeless kitty's.

Thank you for choosing Silver Queen Fine Art and Nano Lopez. In the world we live in there are many options. It’s easy to find a gallery to ship you a sculpture but it’s not so easy to find a gallery where you have a personal connection. It would be our privilege to introduce you to the Silver Queen Team and the Nano Lopez Family.
