“Aloha” is a limited edition, vibrant sea turtle by artist Chris Barela. Raised on the beach,  Chris has held a lifelong connection with the ocean and it’s inhabitants. After retiring from professional surfing, Chris settled in Hawaii beginning his second successful career as an artist. Most of his sculptures have been marine inspired bronze sculptures but he has also created figurative sculptures. His portfolio consists of large tropical fish, turtles, and octopus but in recent years he’s focussed most of his time making turtles. Each of these bronze pieces was originally sculptured in Chris’ Hawaiian home studio, then cast at the Frogman Foundry located in Ventura, California.
