Craig Davison

The paintings of artist Craig Davison are inspired by the imagination and creativity of a child. Each painting captures the spirit of children at play. Born in 1965, Craig Davison's early childhood was spent in Sheffield, England and it was clear to his family and friends that he'd become an amazing talent at a very young age. Craig's first job was as a cartoonist; his earliest works include The Wombles, Bangers & Mash, Huxley Pig & The Shoe People. His professional career took off when he began working in the gaming industry. His portfolio includes The Hulk, Zorro and The Hurricanes. He eventually began moonlighting as a freelance sculptor where he created pieces for Harry Potter, Me To You, Doctor Who and Enchantica. In 2008 Craig Davison began painting professionally and creating from his own imagination. His work is a great gift to start a child's collection, or for the seasoned art enthusiast who still dreams of his or her childhood. Craig's sweet soft color pallet creates a carefree world from a time gone by.
