Hobbled by Conviction by Bryan Tubbs is a hanging, bound and nude, figurative, female bronze sculpture. Her presence invokes a strong emotional response from most viewers, some embracing the image, others not. Bryan’s intent is to deliver sculptures that will produce both positive and negative feelings for his audience, whatever they need to build that connection between his work and the collector. Hobbled by Conviction is one of serval pieces in the artists Angles and Demon’s Collection, angles adorned with curled horns, devils have ones that are straight and pointed. Even though Bryan’s figurative works are in a small limited edition of twenty-five pieces, each one is truly unique because of his signature patina finish. The traditional, hot (fire), chemical treated patina is essentially a permanent stain. After each sculpture is complete, a finishing spray is applied to seal in the color, making it safe for handling.

What makes Bryan Tubbs a Silver Queen Artist: When I was first introduced to Bryan’s work, he exclusively worked in clay. Our first body or work (thirty pieces) SOLD OUT during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival; his works resinated with the L.A. / New York film crowd. The following winter Bryan returned with a new collection that was OUT OF THIS WORLD, very pleasing. After seeing the new collection, Bryan ask me to pick one the new pieces up. Eureka!!! I found it!!! Actually Bryan found it, the perfect medium to offer his client, broadening his collector base. The new works were cast in bronze. I was amazed in his ability to create a series of bronze sculptures that stayed true to his original clay works. They were organic, colorful and solid, made to last for eternity. Bryan’s a Silver Queen Artist because he’s constantly thinking outside the box, pushing himself to grow. His work also appeals to the emerging collector, seasoned art patrons, young and old, he’s got it covered.

You can purchase this sculpture or any of Bryan’s pieces with our one-hundred percent, thirty day, money back promise. Please call the gallery if you have any question or if you’d like to add this wonderful piece to your collection.

Each of Bryan Tubbs' clay pieces are a one-of-a-kind sculpture and his bronze pieces are limited to an edition of only twenty-five. Bryan Tubbs sculptures are thought provoking, inspire conversation and invoke emotion. Sometimes good, sometimes bad - these sculptures mimic the human existence and, like our lives, each one is a living masterpiece.
