Holding on to Each Word is a limited edition, bronze tile by Prescott, Arizona artist, Bryan Tubbs. This piece features a human face with rabbit ears, the word “hope”, and a bound, tortured, red heart. Even though Bryan works in limited editions, no two pieces are just alike because of his signature hot patina process. His finished sculptures look more like clay than cast bronze. His pieces are sculpted in the Tubb’s home studio, then cast in a local Prescott foundry. This sculpture is limited to an edition of fifty pieces and measures four and a half inches tall, three inches deep and five inches wide. Tubb’s also creates one-of-a-kind clay sculptures and masks, if you’d like to see what’s currently available, we’ll be glad to send you images.
